Description

A PRO (Public Relations Officer) handles a company's paperwork with government departments. A monthly retainer gives you an Octavon PRO who looks after your Ajman company's recurring transactions, instead of you hiring and sponsoring your own.

What the PRO does depends on where your company is licensed. For an Ajman mainland company, licence renewal and amendments go to Ajman DED, employee work permits and contracts to MOHRE, and the establishment card, residence visas and Emirates ID to ICP. Ajman Free Zone (AFZ) companies run most transactions through the free zone's own portal: residence visas, entry permits, visa quota, the establishment card and E-Channel, and licence renewal. AFZ processes immigration services in integration with ICP, and MOHRE is not involved for free zone employees. AMCFZ and ANCFZ follow their own free zone procedures, again with ICP for immigration. None of this goes through GDRFA Dubai, which handles Dubai companies.

Typical monthly work includes new employment visas and renewals, the owner's free zone investor visa, family visa sponsorship for staff and shareholders, visa cancellations, Emirates ID, establishment card and E-Channel renewals, and the yearly trade licence renewal. We also coordinate document attestation with MOFA. Documents issued abroad usually need attestation in the issuing country and by the UAE embassy first; we tell you exactly what's needed.

Expiry tracking. We keep a record of every licence, card, visa and Emirates ID expiry for your company. We start renewals in good time, so you avoid late fines and blocked services.

What we can and can't control. We submit applications as soon as your documents are complete. Approval and processing times are set by the authorities (ICP, MOHRE, Ajman DED or the free zone) and can vary.

What affects the monthly fee. The fee depends on your licence type (mainland or free zone), how many employees and visas you have, and how many transactions you expect each month. It also depends on whether you need someone to attend in person or only online submissions. Government fees, medical tests, insurance and translation are paid at cost on top of the retainer. An authorised signatory available to sign forms and approve requests (UAE PASS)
A signed retainer agreement and the authorisation the relevant authority asks for (power of attorney, authorisation letter or PRO card, depending on the authority)

What does an Ajman PRO retainer cover?

Is it different for free zone and mainland companies?

Yes. Mainland companies deal with Ajman DED, MOHRE and ICP. Ajman Free Zone companies handle most transactions through the free zone portal, which works with ICP for visas. MOHRE isn't involved for free zone employees. We handle both.

How much does a PRO retainer cost?

Do I still need to visit government offices?

Most transactions are online. Some steps need the person in person, such as medical tests and Emirates ID biometrics. The authorised signatory must also approve some requests through UAE PASS.

Are government fees included?

No. The retainer covers our PRO service. Government and free zone fees, medical tests and insurance are paid at cost and listed in your monthly summary.
