Should I choose Shopify or WooCommerce for my UAE store?

Shopify is best if you want a fully managed, secure, fast solution without worrying about hosting or updates (recurring fee ~USD 29-79/month). WooCommerce is best if you want full control, custom features, and lower long-term costs but are comfortable with WordPress maintenance. We help you choose during the discovery call.

Which UAE payment gateways do you integrate?

We integrate Stripe (international plus AED), Telr (UAE plus GCC), Ziina (UAE-first), Network International, and Checkout.com. Selection depends on your transaction volume, fees, and which gateway is willing to approve your account.

How many products can I sell on my store?

The included package covers up to 50 product uploads. There is no platform limit on Shopify or WooCommerce — you can scale to thousands of products. Additional product uploads beyond 50 are available at AED 30 per product.

Do I need a separate trade license for e-commerce?

You need a trade license with e-commerce or general trading activity authorised. If your existing license does not cover e-commerce, we can add the activity through our Trade License Amendment service before launching the store.

Can my store sell to customers outside the UAE?

Yes. We configure international shipping rules and multi-currency support so you can sell across GCC, MENA, and globally. Stripe is the recommended gateway for international payments.

How long does the e-commerce setup take?

Standard setup with up to 50 products takes 14 to 21 working days from product data sign-off. Larger catalogues or custom features can extend this. Shopify deployments are typically faster than WooCommerce.

Will my store be VAT-compliant?

Yes. We configure 5% UAE VAT on all applicable orders, set up VAT-inclusive pricing display, and ensure invoices meet FTA requirements. You should be registered for VAT before launch if your revenue exceeds AED 375,000 annually.
